Iranian Association of Detergent , Hygienic and Cosmetic Industries
Necessity for solution of problems and vocational needs of producers of detergent, hygienic and cosmetic products was so essential and clear to require the foundation of an association for producers of this business line. In 1996, thanks to the perseverance and endeavor of a number of forerunners of the mentioned business occupation, the first idea of association foundation was initiated. This old demand and aspiration, after facing a great number of ups and downs, was ultimately realized in 1997 with its initial general assembly held on May 7, 1997 to elect the members of association's board of directors consisting of Dr.Parviz NAZERI-ADLI, Dr.Mohammad-Mehdi KAMKAR-AMOLI, Mr.Reza SAHRAEI, Mr.Bakhtiar ALAM-BEIGI, and Dr.Hassan MOAVEN-SHAHIDI.
At the outset of its activity, the association was registered with Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs on June 18,1997 under No.159. In the course of association operation and because of nature of its function to cooperate with the organizations affiliated to Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines, some amendments were approved and association got affiliated to Iran Chamber of Commerce, industries & mines, with the number of its members of board of directors increased from 5 to 7 for the office period of three years as per amendment of Art. 22 of Articles of Association as follows:
1. One association member elected among the candidates of various powder detergent manufacturer.
2. One association member elected among the candidates of various soap manufacturer.
3. One association member elected among the candidates of various primary materials manufacturer.
4. Four association members elected among the candidates of other producing groups of cosmetic, hygienic, and detergent industries.
